Description
White with silver, matte laminate, square at 4.5 by 4.5 inches, 64 pages. The ornamentation is silver worked on a white ground, which is the most neutral combination in this whole group. It goes onto almost any set table without an argument and without needing anything else to agree with it.
Ashkenaz or Eduth Mizrach. The booklet carries kiddush, the zemiros for Friday night and Shabbos day, seder havdalah, birchas hamazon, sheva brachos and al hamichya, which means it needs no supplementing at a sheva brachos and no second sefer at bentching.
The same design is produced in grey and in peach, and that is worth knowing before you order. A family running two events in one weekend can put white on the Friday night table and peach at the Sunday sheva brachos with the booklets clearly belonging to the same family. For everyday use, white and silver is the one to keep a box of, since it neither dates nor clashes.
