Description
L'kovod Shabbos Kodesh embroidered beneath a spread of genuine Swarovski crystals, with sterling crystal work carried through the rest of the design. This is one of the covers where the stonework is the design rather than an accent — the crystals are laid across the face and the lettering anchors them. Under candles it is bright, and it was built to be.
Three sizes: small at 14.5x17.5, medium at 15.5x19.5 and large at 19.5x23.5. The density of the setting stays the same across the sizes, so a large simply carries more of it. For a table set for guests the large is the obvious choice; on a shorter board the medium keeps the effect without overwhelming everything else in the setting.
Design 181 is also made as a megillah case and as a tallis and tefillin bag. That is a useful pairing to know for a bar mitzvah — the bag for the bochur and the cover for the family table in the same crystal pattern, ordered together rather than hunted down separately.
