The Choice is Mine: Sick at Home by Racheli David – Hardcover

Being home sick is no fun, but Racheli David shows it does not have to be terrible. Her 24-page hardcover presents each part of the experience, from a strep culture to siblings crowding around, in two ways, so children learn the lesson that attitude is everything and the choice of how to see things is theirs.

Being home with a fever or strep throat is no fun. But it doesn't have to be a terrible experience. It's really up to you, and the way you choose to look at the situation!

In this entertaining book by Racheli David, children are taught the all-important lesson of "attitude is everything." Readers are presented with the familiar situation of being stuck sick at home, and the two ways of looking at the different facets of this situation. Is a strep culture annoying and painful, or something that might be uncomfortable for a moment, but will then result in receiving a sticker? Does having your siblings clamor around you make you upset, or does it make you feel grateful to have visitors?

Because:

Each person has a choice; it's up to him to decide

What his outlook will be, what he'll feel like inside!
