Description
Sitting on grocery shelves, the Shabbos foods argue over which one is most important: the Kiddush wine, the challah, the chicken soup or the cake. Yossi Berktin, known as Rabbi B., gives the debate a surprising answer in this humorous 24-page hardcover illustrated by Nechama Leibler, with a real lesson for young children.
A humorous book with an important lesson for young children.
When it comes to the special foods we eat at our Shabbos table, which one is most important? Is it the wine for Kiddush? The challah? The chicken soup? The cake for dessert? Or...perhaps it's something else?
In The Great Shabbos Food Debate, by children's writer and entertainer Yossi Berktin (a.k.a. Rabbi B.), the Shabbos items themselves have this discussion while sitting on the shelves in the grocery store. And the answer to the question raised is something surprising-and wonderful-to them all!
A humorous book with an important lesson, The Great Shabbos Food Debate will become a beloved classic among young children.
