Description
Two vintage glass lamp shades, salvaged and rebuilt into a pair of Shabbat candlesticks. Nickel cups hold standard Shabbat candles, metal tea lights are worked into the construction, and old costume jewelry is set around the glass.
They come to the table Friday afternoon and stay out as glass objects the rest of the week. Since the shades are found one at a time, the pattern in the glass and the jewelry set into it will not turn up on another pair. These are decorative art before anything else, so keep them on a level surface and never leave lit candles alone.
