Description
The Secret to Building a Close Relationship with Hashem
Why do I need to learn gemara? How many times have we asked ourselves this question? We may enjoy it and be successful at it, but in an honest moment we can’t help but wonder what these seemingly unorganized and ambiguous details are really all about — and why its study is so central to Judaism. This book will address these issues, as well as answer many other questions, including:- How does learning Gemara create a close relationship with Hashem?
- What value is there in learning a gemara that doesn’t lead to immediate practical application?
- How are we to understand the Sages’ interpretations that seemingly contradict the actual words of the Written Torah?
- Why did Hashem give the Sages the power to decide what the halachah is in His Divine Torah?
