Arachin (A) Schottenstein Hebrew Travel Talmud

Arachin's opening travel section carries the same all-Hebrew Schottenstein elucidation found on the full-size shtender edition, here in an ultra-lightweight paperback running 218 pages, with the traditional tzuras hadaf and phrase-by-phrase Hebrew explanation underneath it.

From early morning till late at night, people are using their Schottenstein Hebrew Talmud volumes and enriching their lives with the word of Hashem. This ultra-lightweight paperback Travel Edition is what lets that learning walk out of the beis medrash with you.

This volume is Arachin (A), the opening travel section of the masechta, carrying the same all-Hebrew Schottenstein elucidation that sits on the shtender at home. The traditional tzuras hadaf is there, and the phrase-by-phrase Hebrew explanation runs underneath it, so nothing about the way you learn has to change when you switch from the full-size volume to this one.

The difference is entirely physical. At 218 pages in a soft paperback cover, it slides into a coat pocket, a talis bag or the side pocket of a laptop bag without adding real weight, which is the whole point for anyone learning on a bus, a train, a plane, or in the twenty minutes before Minchah at work.

It is a practical gift for a commuter, a bachur heading away for the week, or anyone who keeps a second set of Shas at the office.
