Description
Geometry instead of imagery. Design 905 lays a repeating geometric pattern across the face and lights it with sterling crystals, and there is no candelabra, no arch and no lettering anywhere on it. That makes it one of the few covers in the Malchut range that sits comfortably in a modern dining room without looking out of place against clean lines and plain plates.
The three cuts are the standard ones: 14.5 by 17.5 small, 15.5 by 19.5 medium, 19.5 by 23.5 large. Geometric patterns show their repeat better with more surface to run across, so the large is the more striking of the three if the table can take it. On a smaller table the medium keeps the pattern in proportion.
905 is also produced as a tallis and tefillin bag. A geometric bag is a genuinely different look from the crowns and canopies most men carry, and matching it to the cover on the table is a coherent way to buy for a couple rather than picking two designs that happen to be near each other in the catalogue.
