Description
A single embroidered panel set into the middle of the leather is the whole design on 845. The rest of the hide is left plain, which is unusual in this range and is exactly why some people choose it — the leather is allowed to be the material rather than just a backing for stitchwork. Sterling crystals accent the panel, and the contrast between the worked center and the bare surround is what carries the piece.
Small is 14.5 by 17.5, medium is 15.5 by 19.5, large is 19.5 by 23.5. With a centered panel design the size choice is less about the artwork and more about the table: the panel stays the same, only the leather around it grows. Take the large if you want more of the plain hide showing, which is the more striking version of this particular design.
Leather covers suit a household where Shabbos is busy and the cover gets handled hard. It wipes down, it holds its shape, and it does not show the wear that a light-coloured cloth would after a year of use.
