Description
The four corner design on navy velvet. One motif in each corner, genuine Swarovski crystals set into them, and the center left entirely open. Velvet gives the crystals a dark field to work against, so the four points of light read cleanly from across the room while the middle of the cover stays quiet. It is a simple design executed carefully, which is a different thing from a plain one.
The velvet version is cut in three sizes rather than two: small at 14.5 by 17.5, medium at 15.5 by 19.5 and large at 19.5 by 23.5. The large is worth considering here — a corner design on a big cover has a lot of open velvet in the middle, and that reads as deliberate rather than empty.
This is one of the more affordable covers Malchut makes with genuine Swarovski work on it, which makes it a common gift when you want to give something real without spending heavily. The same 133 design is also produced on white brocade for a lighter look.
