Description
The #6020 design with a fur panel, produced as a siddur and Tehillim cover. Numbers in the 6000s cover their own group of patterns in the Malchut range; ordering by the number is how the covers, the tallis bag and the tefillin bag end up genuinely identical rather than close enough.
On a cover this size, fur does most of the visual work. There is not much surface to fill, so the material carries the piece and the embroidery stays restrained. It also means the cover feels different in the hand from every other sefer on the shelf, which is a large part of why people choose fur when the piece is a gift.
The usual purchase is a pair — the siddur cover and the Tehillim cover together, ordered with the bags. A Tehillim in particular benefits from a cover, since it gets carried to places a siddur does not and takes the corresponding wear on its corners and spine.
