Description
Design #652 sets a leather look against fur trim under a clear glass top. It is a deliberately masculine combination — the leather field is flat, grained and dark-reading, the fur border is soft and irregular, and the contrast between the two is the whole design. Under glass both textures stay visible and neither is exposed to a knife, a spill or the weekly handling that would flatten fur on an unprotected piece.
Sixteen by eleven inches is the working size: a full pair of challos with the knife beside them, and enough clear border for the cover to lie flat.
