Description
A clear glass top finishes the linen-look base of design #940. The fabric shows its weave through the glass and nothing sits above the surface, which keeps the board flat, easy to cut on and impossible to scratch through to the design. It is the plain end of the Malchut range, and plain wears well.
At 16 by 11 inches the board takes two full challos with the knife beside them. It suits a table that gets used properly — cutting, salting, passing — because none of that reaches the fabric. A damp cloth at the end of the seudah is the whole of it, and the linen underneath looks the same in year five as in week one.
