Description
An MDF wood hamsa painted in acrylic through a full run of color, with a rhinestone set into the palm where the eye usually sits, then sealed. It measures 6.5 by 4.5 inches, small enough to hang in a hallway or over a desk without crowding the wall.
The artist painted the piece after a family trip to the Woodstock Museum in upstate New York, and the title, Hope for a Better Tomorrow, comes from that. It is a common choice as a wedding gift for a couple setting up a first home. The color is laid down by hand on every one, so the shading between bands varies.
- MDF wood, acrylic paint, rhinestone accent, sealed finish
- Measures 6.5 by 4.5 inches
- Weighs about 454 grams
- Wall piece for indoor use
