Description
The Blue Linen Kippah is a navy linen yarmulke for men and boys, offered in 16 sizes at $9.99. The colour is a deep navy rather than a bright blue. It has four panels, a self-fabric navy rim finished with a stitched line, and a slightly coarse linen texture that keeps the colour matte. What sets this kippah apart is the fit range: round sizes 1 through 8, flat cuts at 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 22 cm, and clip-loop versions of the 16 and 18 cm flats. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

- Anyone who wants a flat in an in-between size like 17 or 19 cm
- Navy suits and blazers
- Boys who need a clip-loop flat for sports or play
Not the right choice if
- You were expecting a medium or royal blue; this is navy
- Your shul expects black
- You want a contrast rim
- You prefer velvet's formal sheen
Why customers choose it
Navy linen is one of the most wearable coloured kippot, and this one covers more head shapes than almost any other in the range. The half-centimetre flat steps and the size 7 and 8 domes solve the common problem of a kippah that is always slightly too small or too large. The colour itself is dark enough for shul yet lighter in feel than black.

Frequently asked questions
Is this kippah navy or bright blue?
Navy. It is a deep, dark navy linen rather than a bright or royal blue.
Why are there 16 options on this navy linen?
It includes round sizes 1 to 8, six flat widths from 16 to 22 cm, and clip-loop versions of the 16 and 18 cm flats.
What is a clip-loop flat?
A flat-cut kippah with small loops inside so it can be held with a hair clip. It suits boys who are active or men with short hair.
Which size should a man with a large head choose?
Try size 6 or 7 in the round shape. Size 8 is there for the largest heads, and a 20 or 22 cm flat is another option.
How dark does the navy look indoors?
Under indoor lighting the deep navy can read almost black, while in daylight the blue and the slub weave of the linen show clearly.
