Fire Truck Kippah – Fire Zone Navy Cotton Yarmulke

The Fire Zone Kippah is a navy cotton fire-truck yarmulke for boys, sold in 8 sizes at $9.99. Red fire engines with grey ladders, blue roof lights and white detailing drive in rows across a mid-navy ground. Between them are small orange-and-yellow flames, orange traffic cones with white stripes, and red fire hydrants. The trucks come in a few shapes, from long ladder rigs to short rescue vans, and the rim is a narrow band of the same printed cotton. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

How this compares

Best for

• A boy who waves at every passing fire engine
• A visit to the fire station or a Lag Ba'Omer outing
• Everyday school wear, since navy hides marks
• A 16 cm or 18 cm flat for a boy who prefers a flat kippah

Not the right choice if

• You want a dressy kippah for a wedding
• Your school requires solid colours
• You want a quiet print; the red trucks are bright
• You need a flat size above 18 cm

Why customers choose it

Fire trucks are a perennial favourite, and iKippah makes several. Fire Zone is the one on navy, which matters for everyday wear: the dark ground hides the smudges that show quickly on cream or aqua. The print adds flames, cones and hydrants between the trucks, so there is a whole scene to look at rather than one repeated shape. It runs from toddler size 1 up to size 6, so it can be handed down between brothers.

Size guide

Sizing is guidance, not a promise — heads vary. When you are between two sizes, the larger one sits better.

Frequently asked questions

What is on the Fire Zone print?
Red fire engines with ladders and blue lights, small orange flames, striped traffic cones and red fire hydrants on navy.

How is it different from the Fire Rescue kippah?
Fire Rescue uses a light cream background with hoses and ladders, while Fire Zone is on navy with flames and cones, so it looks darker and hides dirt better.

Which size fits a three-year-old?
Size 1 is made for toddlers of about two to three. If he is closer to four, size 2 will last longer.

Is it a good upsherin gift?
Yes. A fire-truck kippah is a popular first kippah, and a name can be embroidered on it with no minimum order.

Can a teen wear it?
Size 5 and 6 fit teens, though most older boys choose a less childlike print.
