Description
The rooster on this case began as an enamel brooch and now stands on a silver aluminum mezuzah case, framed by rhinestones and salvaged jewelry. Two rooster colors are offered, pink or red, and the case runs 6.5 by .5 inches at roughly 2 ounces.
Old pins turn up in ones and twos, so the enamel wear and the surrounding stones are never quite identical between cases. It goes on an inside doorpost, and it makes a wry gift for a kitchen entry or for anyone who keeps chickens.
