Description
Of the three La Royale covers, 632 is the most classical — the embroidery is dense but the pattern is restrained, and the sterling crystal work is placed rather than scattered. It is the version to take if you want the weight and the material of the collection without a cover that dominates everything else on the table.
Small runs 14.5x17.5, medium 15.5x19.5, and large 19.5x23.5. A medium is the practical middle for a family table set for six or eight; the large is for a board carrying four or more challos, or for a Yom Tov meal where the table gets extended. All three share the same design and the same crystal work — only the field grows.
A matzah cover and a tallis and tefillin bag are made in the same 632 pattern. That matters more than it sounds: a man who carries the 632 bag to shul and comes home to the matching cover on his table is buying one design, not three separate items, and few Judaica lines actually allow for that.
