Description
Design #1205 in leather, made up as a siddur and Tehillim cover to order. Leather is the workhorse finish for covers that will be carried daily — it takes handling without showing it, it does not fray at the corner the way fabric does, and it holds a fitted shape over years instead of going slack.
The covers are produced in the same leather and the same design as your custom tallis and tefillin bags. Leather is precisely the case where ordering together matters: two hides described the same way can differ in grain, in weight and in tone, and the only way to be sure is to have the pieces made from one specification.
Most people order the siddur cover and the Tehillim cover as a pair. The siddur is the one going into the tefillin bag every morning; the Tehillim is the one that travels furthest and takes the most abuse. Made-to-order work needs a production window, so plan around whatever date you are working towards.
