Description
The #2055 design in leather, made up to cover a siddur or a Tehillim. No embroidery, no fabric panel — leather, cut to the pattern, and left to speak for itself. It is the quieter end of the custom range, and it ages the way leather ages: the corners soften, the surface picks up a sheen where a thumb rests, and after a few years it looks better than it did new.
The choice to make before ordering is which sefer it is for. A siddur cover has to survive daily handling and a zipper closing on it; a Tehillim cover tends to be carried rather than shelved, in and out of a coat pocket and a car. Either way the leather is doing the protecting, and the binding underneath stays square.
#2055 also exists as a custom tallis bag and tefillin bag, and that is how it is usually bought — the cover ordered at the same time as the bags so the whole set matches from the start. For a wedding or a milestone birthday it is a gift that will still be in use decades later.
