Hexagon Lucite Wash Cup with Silver Handles, Design #7073

Hexagonal faceting on the lucite body, silver on the handles — design #7073 in its cooler finish. The facets pick up light along their edges and give the cup depth that a smooth clear body does not have, and silver handles read as a clean line against that rather than as a warm accent. Four and seven-eighths inches tall, 5 inches across at the widest point including the handles.

Almost every modern bathroom fitting is chrome or brushed nickel, and silver is the finish that disappears into that rather than fighting it. If the taps in the room are chrome, this is the version to take. The cup itself is the standard working size for netilas yadayim, holding enough for both hands without a refill halfway through.
