Description
Silver handles on the #7070 lucite body — the most conventional pairing in the range and the one people reach for when they want the cup to look like it belongs rather than to make a statement. The acrylic is clear throughout, the handles carry the only finish, and the whole piece stands 4 7/8 inches high and 5 inches in diameter including them.
Size is the reason to buy a proper wash cup instead of using whatever glass is by the sink. Under five inches of height gives capacity for the full washing without refilling halfway, and the handles set the diameter at a width a hand actually closes around. Both of those things matter more at six in the morning than any decoration does.
Silver is the safe choice against chrome taps, white tile and stainless fittings. It is also the finish that reads as traditional at a Shabbos table, if the cup is used at the meal rather than kept at the sink. Lucite holds up to years of daily water in a way that plated metal does not.
