Description
The single-handled #7071 shape with a silver finish on the handle and a clear lucite body. One handle gives the cup a cleaner outline than the two-handled designs and takes up marginally less room, which counts on a narrow bathroom shelf or a nightstand already carrying a sefer and a glass of water. Four and seven-eighths inches tall, 5 inches in diameter including the handle.
Pouring from a single handle is a one-sided motion: the cup is gripped and tipped rather than passed between hands. Most adults find that entirely natural. For a child learning to wash, or for anyone whose grip has weakened, the two-handled designs in the same range give more security and are worth the extra width.
Silver against clear acrylic is the neutral combination. It sits correctly beside chrome taps and does not compete with anything in a white bathroom. And because the body is transparent, the cup shows whether it was filled the night before without anybody needing to pick it up and look.
