Description
White handles on the #7072 lucite cup — the one finish in the range that is neither gold nor silver. White against clear acrylic reads bright and clean, closer to porcelain than to metal, and it suits a white bathroom entirely rather than introducing a metal tone into it. The cup stands 4 7/8 inches high and 5 inches across including the handles.
There is a practical side to white here. Metal handles show water spotting and fingerprints; a white finish shows neither in the same way, so the cup looks the same at the end of the week as it did at the start of it. On a white marble or quartz counter it nearly disappears, leaving only the clear body visible.
It is also the natural pick when the cup is joining a set of other white pieces, or when it is going to a household where everything in the bathroom is white and a gold cup would end up the only warm object in the room. Capacity and grip are the same as the metal-handled versions of the design.
