Description
Solid teak, a full inch thick, engraved with the monogram of the household it is going to. Three shapes are cut: a 12 by 12 inch square, a 15 by 15 inch circle, and a 12 by 16 inch rectangle, all approximate since the boards are cut from real stock.
Thick teak like this takes a knife well and looks right carrying challah to the Shabbos table or cheese and fruit to guests. The surface is sealed with food-safe mineral oil, and it wants a wipe rather than a soak.
