Description
Over five hundred hand-sewn pearl beads and four hundred and forty genuine Swarovski crystals across a white satin ground, with the word Shabbos embroidered intricately at the center. The pearls and the crystals do different things — pearls hold a soft steady light, crystals throw sharp points of it — and having both on one cover is why this design does not read like every other stone-set piece.
Three sizes: small at 14.5x17.5, medium at 15.5x19.5 and large at 19.5x23.5. Given the density of the beadwork, the large is the size that shows the design properly, but the small is a real option for a compact board and loses nothing in detail — the beads simply sit closer together.
Design 180 is also made as a tallis and tefillin bag. The same pattern is produced in navy if white satin is not what your table calls for; the navy version reads far more formal, and the pearls stand out harder against the darker ground.
