Description
The Baseball Dov Bear Gray Jersey Kippah is a heather grey cotton-jersey yarmulke for boys with an embroidered baseball bear, offered in 8 sizes at $9.99. The fabric has the flecked, slightly fuzzy look of a favourite sweatshirt, cut into four panels with a narrow self-fabric edge. Best for
- A young boy who complains that stiffer kippot feel uncomfortable
- Everyday school and camp wear
- Matching a grey hoodie or team T-shirt
- A small gift for a baseball-mad nephew or grandson
Not the right choice if
- A formal occasion where leather, suede or velvet is expected
- A school that requires black or navy kippot
- Someone who wants a crisp structured dome; jersey is soft
- Adults looking for a plain design
Why customers choose it
Jersey is the fabric of T-shirts and sweatshirts, so this kippah feels familiar and soft on a young head rather than stiff. The light heather grey makes the navy and yellow of the embroidered uniform stand out, and the bear is stitched rather than printed so it will not crack. It is the relaxed, everyday member of the baseball-bear family.
Size guide

Frequently asked questions
Is jersey a soft material for a kippah?
Yes. Jersey is a stretchy knitted cotton-style fabric, like a T-shirt, so it feels softer and lighter than leather or velvet.
What is on the baseball bear design?
A brown bear in a navy cap and white pinstriped uniform with navy and yellow trim, holding a bat on his shoulder and a baseball in his glove.
Should I pick this or the green leather baseball bear?
Pick this grey jersey for comfort and everyday play; pick the green leather for a firmer, dressier look that holds up at shul.
What size for a first-grade boy?
Size 3 usually fits around six to seven years old, and size 2 suits younger children. The 16 cm and 18 cm flat cuts sit lower on the head.
How do I keep a jersey kippah looking neat?
Dab away marks with a damp cloth, press it back into shape by hand, and let it dry flat so the knit does not stretch.
