Description
This Baseball Dov Bear Kippah is a light blue denim yarmulke for boys, embroidered with a bear in baseball pinstripes, and it comes in 8 sizes at $9.99. The four panels are a soft, washed light-blue denim with a faint diagonal twill. Dov Bear stands on the front panel in a navy cap, a grey-and-white pinstripe uniform and dark cleats, with a tan bat resting on his shoulder. Best for

- School days and camp, where a playful design is welcome
- A sibling set, paired with the soccer bear on the same light denim
Not the right choice if
- You are looking for a Pesach design; this is the baseball Dov Bear
- You need clip sizes; this one has no clip option
- You need a size larger than an 18cm flat
- You want a dark kippah for a formal occasion
Why customers choose it
Light denim is a gentle, washed blue that suits boys' spring clothes, and the embroidered bear is detailed enough to hold up to close looks: pinstripes, a cap, cleats and a bat over the shoulder. It is the same baseball bear that iKippah stitches on navy mesh, here on a softer denim for kids who prefer a lighter colour. Sizes start at 1, so it fits small boys as well as older ones.
Size guide
| Size | Typical fit |
|---|---|
| 1 | Toddler, roughly 2–3 years |
| 2 | Young child, roughly 4–5 years |
| 3 | Child, roughly 6–7 years |
| 4 | Older child, roughly 8–10 years |

| 6 | Larger adult head |
| 16cm Flat | Flat style, 16 cm across — typically child |
| 18cm Flat | Flat style, 18 cm across — typically teen to adult |
Sizing is guidance, not a promise — heads vary. When you are between two sizes, the larger one sits better.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the Pesach Bear or the Baseball Bear?
The Baseball Bear. Dov Bear is embroidered in a baseball uniform holding a bat, on a light blue denim crown.
What is the difference between this and the navy mesh baseball bear?
The bear design is the same. This one is on pale denim with a smooth feel; the navy mesh version is darker, more open and also comes in clip sizes.
Which size is right for a five-year-old?
Many young boys wear size 2 or 3. Compare against a kippah that already fits, using the size table below.
Will the embroidery hold up to daily wear?
The bear is densely stitched in thread. Keep it out of the washer and spot clean around the design to keep the stitching neat.
Is there a matching design for a brother?
The soccer Dov Bear comes on the same light blue denim, so two brothers can match fabric with different sports.
