- A birthday or upsherin-age gift for a sporty kid
- Brothers, since sizes run from 1 up to a 19 cm flat
Not the right choice if
- A shul where only plain kippot are worn
- Parents who prefer a gentler theme
- Adults wanting a sober kippah
- A washable fabric; leather is wipe-clean only
Why customers choose it
Sports bears are a favourite with boys, and the boxer is one of the most characterful: red gloves up, headgear on, ready to go. Placing him on a dark navy leather means the kippah still looks tidy and dark from across the room, which helps in schools with dress codes. The leather base also holds its shape better than cotton for a kid who is hard on his things.

Frequently asked questions
What does the boxing bear look like?
He wears red headgear and red gloves, a navy tank top, white trunks and grey boots, with his fists raised in a boxing stance.
Is the kippah black or navy?
It is a very dark navy leather. Under indoor light it can look close to black, and the blue shows in daylight.
What sizes does the boxing bear kippah come in?
The boxing bear kippah comes in numbered sizes 1 through 6 and flat cuts of 16, 18 and 19 cm.
Is the bear printed?
No, it is embroidered in coloured thread, which keeps it bright and raised from the leather.
How should I clean a leather kippah with embroidery?
Wipe the leather with a damp cloth, going around the bear rather than over it, and let it dry naturally.
