Description
The Ready for Action Kippah is a light gray police-car print yarmulke for boys, made in 7 sizes at $9.99. Neat rows of black-and-white patrol cars run across the crown, each with a gold sheriff-style star on the door and a red and blue light bar on the roof. On the top view the cars turn to follow each of the four panels, and the rim is a soft gray piping that matches the background. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

- A calm vehicle print for school that is not neon
- Pairing with gray, navy or black kids' clothing
- Purim for a young police officer costume
Not the right choice if
- You want a formal Shabbos kippah
- You need a size 6; numbered sizes stop at 5
- You prefer lots of colour; this print is mostly black and white
- An adult wanting a plain design
Why customers choose it
Vehicle prints are often loud, but this one sticks to black, white and gray with small pops of red and gold, so it looks tidy on a school uniform. The repeating rows of cruisers are easy for a small child to recognise, and the light gray background shows the cars clearly without the glare of pure white.
Size guide
| Size | Typical fit |
|---|---|
| 1 | Toddler, roughly 2–3 years |
| 2 | Young child, roughly 4–5 years |
| 3 | Child, roughly 6–7 years |
| 4 | Older child, roughly 8–10 years |
| 5 | Teen and most adult men — the most-ordered size |
| 16cm Flat | Flat style, 16 cm across — typically child |
| 18cm Flat | Flat style, 18 cm across — typically teen to adult |
Sizing is guidance, not a promise — heads vary. When you are between two sizes, the larger one sits better.
Frequently asked questions
What is printed on the Ready for Action kippah?
Black-and-white police cruisers in neat rows, each with a gold star badge on the door and a red and blue light bar, on a light gray background.
Is it the same print as the fire truck kippah?
No. The Fire Trucks kippah shows red fire engines on aqua. This one is police cars on gray and is more muted.
Is it a good Purim kippah?
Yes, it completes a police officer costume, and it still works for everyday wear after Purim.
Which size for a seven-year-old?
Size 3 is typical for roughly 6 to 7 years. Choose size 4 if he is at the top of that range.
