Description
The Rimless Black 6 Panel Kippah is a plain black cotton twill yarmulke with no rim band, made for men and boys in 11 sizes at $9.99. Six narrow panels meet at the crown for a rounded dome, and instead of a sewn-on rim the edge is simply turned and stitched, so the kippah sits lower and looks cleaner at the hairline. The black is a deep, matte twill with tone-on-tone seams. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping nationwide.

- You want colour or pattern
- Your school requires a navy kippah
Why customers choose it
Leaving off the rim makes a kippah look lighter and lower, and on a plain black cotton the effect is simply neat. Combined with six panels, it follows the head closely and has no thick edge to catch the hair. iKippah tags it for school and back-to-school, and the wide size range, up to 22 cm flat, suits boys and men alike.

Frequently asked questions
What does rimless mean?
There is no separate band sewn around the edge. The fabric is turned under and stitched, so the edge is thinner and flatter.
Why six panels?
Six narrower panels give a rounder dome that follows the head closely.
How is this different from the black cotton rimless kippah?
Both are rimless black cotton. This one is cut in six panels; the other uses iKippah's standard cut.
Is it acceptable for school?
It is a plain black cotton kippah, which most schools accept. Check whether yours requires velvet.
What sizes does the Rimless Black 6 Panel kippah come in?
Dome sizes 1 through 7 and 16, 18, 20 and 22 cm flat.
