Best for
- Boys who like the preppy teddy-bear look
- Casual weekday wear with jeans or chinos
- A 16cm flat with clips for little boys whose kippah slips
- Gifts for fans of iKippah's bear collection
Not the right choice if
- Anyone wanting a plaid fabric; this one is plain blue denim
- A school that requires a dark, plain kippah
- Formal or Shabbos outfits
- Someone who dislikes character embroidery
Why customers choose it
The bear is detailed enough to reward a close look, down to the fraying on his jeans and the knotted sweater, yet it takes up only one panel, so the kippah still reads as a plain denim one from most angles. Denim is sturdy and hides everyday wear. Sizes run from a toddler 1 to a 20cm flat, plus a 16cm flat with clips for small boys.

Frequently asked questions
Is there any plaid on this kippah?
No. It is the Tattered Jeans Bear on plain mid-blue denim; a brown cotton version carries the same bear.
What is the bear wearing?
Round glasses, a small blue cap, a brown jacket with shirt and tie, a yellow sweater round his shoulders, ripped jeans and tan boots.
Does any size come with clips?
Yes. The 16cm Flat w/ Clips size has clips attached; the others do not.
How does it compare with the Grandpa Bear denim kippah?
Both are embroidered bears on mid-blue denim; Grandpa Bear wears a flat cap and long camel coat, while this bear wears ripped jeans and a jacket.
Is denim comfortable for a kippah?
Yes. This is a soft washed denim that is sturdier than plain cotton and keeps its shape well.
