Description
In Kotzk, es brent a feier - A fire burns in Kotzk
There was none like him. None.
He was the Rebbe of Kotzk. The "Saraf," an angel whose fire still burns! Who was Rav Menachem Mendel Morgenstern, the Kotzker Rebbe? What was his mission, and more importantly, what is his legacy?
When he lived he was often feared, his chassidim misunderstood by many. But nearly 200 years later, the truths he told endure. Now, in this unique biography, you will hear his story and how it fuses with his powerful words. You will feel the atmosphere of that holy chaburah in their rundown beis medrash, and maybe taste some of the joy and meaning they felt, at each moment of each day, in Kotzk.
His fire burned in Kotzk, but it warmed all of Polish Jewry. And it continues to warm us even today
