Description
The story of Lady Amélie Jakobovits, Queen of Kindness
In Paris, France, war was raging. Amélie Munk and her family fled deep into the French countryside. How would they survive? Where could they go? Young Amélie would need to draw on her spunk and courage to help her family stay safe during this dangerous time. After the war, Amélie married and lived in the United States and England. Her enthusiasm for life and concern for others was obvious to all who met her. As the wife of Chief Rabbi Immanuel Jakobovits, Amélie used her trademark love for people to spread happiness wherever she went. When her husband was knighted, she became “Lady J” — a woman who lit up the world. This is Lady J’s story. It’s the story of a woman who was the queen of kindness.Product Details
