Crystal Crown Brocade Challah Cover with Becher and Candelabra #178

A draped curtain runs across the top of design 178 with a crown set above it, and beneath that a becher and a candelabra are embroidered into the center of the brocade. Genuine Swarovski crystals are worked through the design, concentrated where the crown meets the curtain. It is a busy face compared with the plainer numbers, and it is meant to be — the crown reads from the far end of a long table.

Silver or gold thread, in small at 14.5 by 17.5, medium at 15.5 by 19.5 or large at 19.5 by 23.5. On a pictorial design like this the large is where the becher and candelabra get enough room to be recognisable rather than suggested; the small compresses them. Gold suits the crown motif more naturally, though silver keeps the whole thing cooler and less formal.
