Design 1277 is the most affordable embroidered bag in this group, and Malchut has been careful about where they saved. The embroidery is real stitching, not a printed or applied face, and the seams are properly finished; what you give up compared with the top numbers is density of thread and the weight of the body, not the honesty of the construction. For a first bag, or a second one, it is a genuinely sensible purchase.
The three sizes are the usual: 10.5" x 10" bar mitzvah, 14" x 14" large talis, 16" x 16" extra large. The bar mitzvah size is the one most often bought here, since it lands at the moment a bochur gets his tefillin and the family is already spending on the tefillin themselves. The larger cuts serve a grown man with a full tallis.
