#3009 opens the 3000 numbering with a worked embroidered face rather than a trimmed one. The pattern is carried across the front in Malchut's usual construction, and the absence of fur or velvet keeps the bag squarely in the everyday category rather than the occasion one.
The three cuts are 10.5 by 10 inches, 14 by 14 and 16 by 16, which cover a bar mitzvah bochur, a man with a standard tallis, and a man with a large one respectively. Measure the tallis folded, allow for the tefillin alongside, and order to that. There is no advantage in a bag that fits exactly and every advantage in one with an inch of working room.
