Description
Hand spun white strings in the fine weight, 100 percent virgin wool, made under the hashgacha of Badatz Yerushalayim. Twelve short strings and four longer ones come in the packet, enough to tie all four corners of a beged without opening a second set.
Two lengths are on offer, 40 cm and 45 cm. Forty is right for a small katan, particularly on a child's or a young bochur's beged where a long tzitzis simply gets in the way and ends up tucked in. Forty five gives more to work with on an adult katan and leaves the strands hanging a little lower once the chulyos are wound. Neither length is meant for a full sized tallis gadol; take one of the longer thick sets for that.
Thin strings are the lighter, flatter option against the body, and at this price point they are the sensible thing to keep two or three sets of at home. Corners tear, boys lose strings, and having a spare packet in the house saves a trip.
