Best for
- Boys who play soccer at recess, camp or in a league
- Hot days, since the open mesh vents heat
- A dark kippah that hides grass and dirt better than white
- Brothers who want the same bear in navy and white
Not the right choice if
- A formal shul or wedding outfit
- Boys who dislike the feel of open mesh
- Anyone who needs a flat size over 18cm
- You want the bear to stand out as brightly as it does on white
Why customers choose it
Navy is the practical pick for a boy who actually plays: it keeps looking clean after a game where white would not. The embroidered bear is lively and detailed, from the striped socks to the cap, and the white jersey pops against the dark mesh. Clip versions of the flat sizes help keep it on when running.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the white mesh soccer bear?
It is the same bear and the same mesh; only the base colour changes. Navy hides dirt and looks darker, while white is brighter and more summery.
What number does the bear wear?
He wears a white number 18 jersey with red and navy trim on the sleeves.
Is there a clip option?
Yes. The 16cm and 18cm flat sizes are each also sold with clips attached.
Is navy mesh hot in the sun?
Mesh vents air through its open holes, so it stays cooler than cotton or velvet, even in a dark colour.
What size fits a boy of eight?
Many boys around that age wear a size 3 or 4. Check the size table below against a kippah that fits now.
