Megillas Esther Booklet, Scroll Design Cover #181

A scroll design runs across the cover of this Megillas Esther booklet, and the inside is where the surprise is: every fourth page prints coloured pillars, cycling through red, purple, flaxen gold and green and then round again to the last page. It keeps a child's eye on the page during a long layning, which is more than most booklets manage.

Thirty-two pages, paperback, 4.25 by 6.25 inches — small enough to hold in one hand and to put in a coat pocket on the way to shul. Beyond the megillah itself it carries the brochos, birchas hamazon in both nuschaos, Ashkenaz and Edut HaMizrach, along with Al HaMichya and Sheva Brachos, so the same booklet covers the seudah as well as the reading.
