Tefillah LeChuppah Card in Silver, Nusach Sefard #495

The Tefillah LeChuppah printed on a silver card — the tefillah a kallah says standing under the chuppah, on its own rather than buried in a siddur she will not be holding at that moment. Silver is the obvious colour for it and the only one it is made in; it photographs well and it does not clash with a bouquet or a gown.

It is printed in Nusach Sefard. There is nothing else to choose, because the whole item is one tefillah on one card. That is the design: at the chuppah nobody is paging through anything, and a kallah who has been handed a card can hold it, read it, and give it back without a fuss.

Beyond the chuppah itself, it is a natural thing to include in a gift to a kallah in the weeks before the wedding, and families order several so the mothers and grandmothers standing under the chuppah each have one. Design #495 also appears alongside the Malchut tallis and tefillin bags if you are putting together a set for the chosson at the same time.
