Description
Design 1806B sits at the top end of the lulav cases, and it is built to the same working dimensions as the rest of the range: 53.5 by 7.5 inches, enough for a full bound lulav with nothing standing out of the top. The difference between this and the simpler numbers is in the make of the case itself, not in what it holds.
The aluminum lining is available as an option when you order. Lined, the case keeps the lulav fresh through Sukkos instead of letting it dry out in the first few days; unlined, it is the same case built plain. Most people buying at this level take the lining, since the case is meant to last many years and the lulav it carries is usually a chosen one.
This is the case a man buys when the lulav is no longer the first one he has ever bound and the walk to shul on Sukkos morning is something he wants to do with a piece he is happy to be seen carrying.
