Description
Design 1840 is a 53.5 by 7.5 inch lulav case with the stay-fresh aluminum lining built in. It is one of the more moderate numbers in the range, but the lining is the same one fitted to the heavier cases, so the lulav gets the same treatment inside whichever design you choose.
The case is cut for a full bound lulav, spine and top covered, and the lining does the work of keeping the set from drying out over the days of Sukkos. There are no options to select and no add-ons — what is described is what arrives, which makes it an easy case to buy for a son or a bochur who needs one before Yom Tov.
The 1840 number also appears on a megillah case, which is a good reason to remember it. A family that starts with this lulav case can put the matching megillah case on the list for Purim and end up with two pieces that belong together, bought months apart.
