Description
Design 1806G measures 53.5 by 7.5 inches, which is a full-length case rather than a compact one. A bound lulav goes in complete and the top stays protected, and the width means the aravos and hadassim are not being crushed against the inside every time the set is put away.
The aluminum lining is left to you to decide on. Ordered lined, the case actively slows the lulav from drying, which is what keeps a set looking right on the seventh day rather than the second. Ordered plain, it is a carrying case and nothing more, which some buyers prefer because they stand the lulav in water at home anyway.
It is one of the more substantial cases in the line, and it behaves like one: it stands where you put it, it does not bend when it is leaned against a wall in the sukkah, and it comes back out of the closet next Elul in the same condition it went in.
