Description
The 1815BB is a lulav case built to the standard 53.5 by 7.5 inches, made to hold a full bound lulav for the whole of Sukkos rather than just for the walk. It is one of the numbered designs, so the look is consistent and it is easy to add to later if you want another piece in the same number.
The aluminum lining is the option to think about. It is what keeps the lulav from drying out over the seven days, and for anyone who has watched aravos go brown by the third day it is the obvious choice. The unlined build is there for buyers who want the case alone.
Consider who is carrying it. A bochur taking his own lulav to yeshiva for Yom Tov needs a case that will survive a dormitory and a bus, and a case at this level of build is far more likely to come home intact than a light one. The size does not change either way — a full lulav needs a full-length case.
