Mini Mincha Maariv Booklet in Brown with Raised Gold Border #183

A raised gold border set against a brown ground gives this one its look — the border is embossed rather than printed, so it catches the light along the edge of the cover. The booklet itself is genuinely small, 2.5 by 3.25 inches, which is wallet size in the literal sense, and it still runs to 64 pages.

What is packed into those pages is the argument for it. Mincha and Maariv, Seder Sefiras HaOmer, birchas hamazon, sheva brachos and al hamichya, tefillas haderech and krias shema — which covers most of what a man needs when he is away from a siddur, in something that fits behind a credit card. Three nusachos are printed: Ashkenaz, Sefard and Eduth Mizrach.

Design #183 is also made in white with a silver border. Brown and gold is the warmer of the two and the one that suits a bar mitzvah or a men's simcha; the white version reads lighter and works better where the tables are set pale. Both are ordered the same way and hold identical contents.
