Description
An embellished silver border frames this cover, more worked than the plain strips and sidebars found elsewhere in the range, and silver rather than gold, which places it with a table already set in silver. Sixty-four pages, paperback, 4.25 by 6.25 inches.
The contents are the full set: hadlakas neiros, kiddush and zemiros for Friday night and Shabbos day, the zemiros for motzei Shabbos, birchas hamazon, sheva brachos and al hamichya. That last pair is why this booklet gets ordered for simchos in particular. A sheva brachos table needs the brachos printed where people can find them, and here they are inside the same booklet rather than on a loose sheet at every place.
Ashkenaz or Eduth Mizrach is the only decision to make. It sits in a zemiros holder if you keep a set standing at the head of the table, and because the border is silver rather than gold it reads more comfortably against white and grey linen than the gold-bordered booklets do.
