Description
An ornate white and gold face on a matte laminate square, 4.5 by 4.5 inches, 64 pages. Ornate is the accurate word here. The gold is worked across the whole cover rather than confined to a border at the edge, which makes this the dressiest of the square booklets in the range.
Choose Ashkenaz or Eduth Mizrach. The contents run kiddush and zemiros for Friday night and Shabbos day, seder havdalah, birchas hamazon, sheva brachos and al hamichya, so the booklet holds up at a weekday simcha just as well as it does at the Shabbos table on an ordinary week.
White and gold is the standard chasunah and sheva brachos pairing, and this is the version people order when the room is already set in gold, gold chargers, gold-rimmed glasses, gold on the invitation. The matte laminate is what keeps it from looking thin next to real gilt, which is where glossier booklets tend to fall down.
