Al Hamichyah Lucite Magnet, Clear or Pearl White #300

Design #300 sets the full text of Al Hamichyah into a flat panel of crystal-clear lucite, with a metal magnet fixed to the back. The lettering runs large and clean across the face, so the bracha achrona can be read from arm's length at the counter rather than squinted at. In transparent the panel almost disappears against a stainless fridge door and leaves only the words; in pearl white it reads as a solid ivory tile with the text sitting on top of it.

Three things to pick. Nusach comes in Ashkenaz or Eduth Mizrach, so the text matches what is said at your table. Colour is transparent or pearl white. Size is small at 3.5 by 5 inches or large at 5 by 7 — the small one suits a fridge door already carrying calendars and school papers, while the large is the one to take if you want it legible to a child standing back from it.

It ends up being the piece people actually use, kept where the mezonos gets eaten rather than filed away in a drawer with the benchers. Easy to hand over as a housewarming gift or as an addition to a shalach manos.
