Description
A smaller square bencher: 6 by 6 inches, eight lucite panels, printed front and back in design #205. The reduced footprint is the whole idea — at a crowded table where every place setting is fighting for room, a six-inch card slots between a plate and a wine glass without displacing anything. Printing both faces keeps the full birchas hamazon on a panel this size.
Ashkenaz or Eduth Mizrach, and gold or silver on the lucite. The gold reads warm against a white cloth and picks up candlelight; silver stays cooler and pairs with a silver becher and leichter. Both are printed on the same clear stock, so the panel stays light enough for a child to hold up through the whole bentschen without putting it down.
These are also the ones people take along to a Yom Tov meal elsewhere, since eight small cards pack into a bag far more easily than eight full-size benchers. The lucite handles the trip and cleans off afterward.
